The great thing about Instagram stories is that there are a variety of ways to promote your Live. The very next day, you could take a selfie, smiling excitedly, and add a poll sticker that says, “Who’s excited for the live tomorrow?” The options could be “me” and “not me.” On the third and final day, you could record yourself and mention again the details of the Live and add a slider sticker that asks, “How excited are you for the live later today?”
This is especially important because you allow your followers to interact with you and your announcement. They’re more likely to remember when they get involved and engage with you.

Your post has to be minimalist—you’re just announcing the date and time of your Instagram Live. You can say, “Going Live on February 1, 2019 @ 9:00 a.m. PST.”
In the caption, if you want, you can announce the topic you’ll be covering. If you do, you can build excitement around it. For example, you could say something along the lines of, “I’m going to give you the top five things that all successful artists do, and you don’t want to miss out!”
